Wow! What an afternoon! Today we presented our confidence course models to the class. Before we started we discussed the importance of speaking clearly and giving key information to our audience. Check out the videos to see how we did. We would appreciate your feedback on how we did overall, particularly in relation to the criteria we developed before we started ('The brief' on a previous post)

Today the some of our year 6 and 7 students got the opportunity to go and listen to Derek Landy talk at Wellesley School. Derek is an Irish authour and very well-known for his series of books called ‘Skulduggery Pleasant’.
Derek was a fantastically funny speaker who kept the audience entertained for half an hour. He had us all laughing from the beginning until the end.
The students who took a book along to get signed also received a pack of game cards. The library was also given some great prizes. Sue is running a competition to win a great prize pack that includes a t-shirt and other super prizes!
To win the prize pack you must write an amazing recount about going to Wellesley to hear Derek speak. GOOD LUCK!!

Last week Room 15 started the construction of our "Ultimate Confidence Courses". We have been working incredibly hard, starting with putting our designs onto paper. We have been working in groups to develop our courses so everyone has needed to focus on the task at hand so we don't let anyone down!
All courses are due to be finished by Tuesday so they will ready to be presented to the camera. Watch this space throughout the week for updates!
