Yesterday for inquiry we were learning about why people would want to call New Zealand home, what attracts people to live here. We started by listening to the song 'Land of Plenty' by OMC. We discussed the themes of the song and what features of New Zealand were identified. Using wall wisher we brainstormed all our ideas about what makes people decide to live here.

Sharing our knowledge
Today we started our new Inquiry topic - 'Who are we?' As a class we shared all the information we already knew about NZ history. From all our facts we made a 'web of knowledge' which we then used to record our knowledge and then form questions we want to find answers for.

Wearable Arts 2009...time to start thinking!
Term 3 is all about Wearable Arts. For art this term you need to design and create an outstanding piece of art you can wear for our Wearable Arts Show. Its best to start thinking about your piece of art now along with what types of materials you wish to use.
